Adjective and Adverb

☆ADJECTIVE

Adjectives adalah bagian dari part of speech yang digunakan untuk memodifikasi kata benda (noun) dan kata ganti (pronoun) dengan memberi sifat pada benda, dan memberikan informasi pada objek yang dimodifikasi.

Adjective bisa digunakan lebih dari satu dalam frasa tetapi Noun nya hanya bisa digunakan satu saja.

Examples:

* Frasa Dengan 1 Adj:

1. Smart Boy

2. Good Student

3. Beautiful Lips

4. Friendly Face

5. Black Underwear

*Frasa Dengan 2 Adj:

1. Long Brown Skirt

2. Beautiful Long Jacket

3. Gray Striped Bag

*Frasa Dengan Lebih Dari 2 Adj:

1. Curly Long Blonde Hair

2. Beautiful Blooming Red Flowers

3. New Brown Thick Book

4. Sweet Pandan Pie Cake

5. Beautiful Unique Natural Painting

☆ADVERB

Adverb (kata keterangan) adalah kata yang menerangkan bagaimana kata kerja dilakukan.

Macam- macam Adverb diantaranya sebagai berikut:

1. Adverb of Frequency

Yaitu kata keterangan yang menunjukkan sesuatu yang diulang-ulang.

2. Adverb of Time

Yaitu kata keterangan yang menunjukkan keterangan waktu.

3. Adverb of Place

Yaitu kata keterangan yang menunjukkan keterangan tempat.

Examples:

* Adv:

1. The waiter smiles politely.

2. He talks fastly.

3. The train run quickly.

4. He is working hard.

5. She can speak English fluently.

* Adv of Frequency:

1. I always eat hygiene food to avoid stomachache.

2. She frequently rearranges her bedroom.

3. I usually wake up at 4 a.m.

4. He occasionally climbs a mountain and sleeps in a tent.

5. She never sheds tears in front of other people.

* Adv of Time:

1. Please call me later, I’m studying now.

2. They sent a box of blackforest cake to me eleven days ago.

3. I paid a call my friend in the hospital last week.

4. She’ll have dinner at the cafe near her home tomorrow.

5. The factory has operated since 1989.

* Adv of Place:

1. He is watching the badminton match there.

2. I take my family to Jekardah.

3. My apartment faces north.

4. You can find the mineral water everywhere.

5. Nene meet with Keke in somewhere.
